General function description
As a Lecturer, you will:
- Teach practice-oriented courses in hospitality management.
- Coach and assess Dutch and international students.
- Apply a multidisciplinary approach to business challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends and research.
- Collaborate actively within a dynamic, international academic team.
- Support an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
Expertise Areas
Revenue Management
- Teach demand forecasting, RMS tools, and pricing strategies.
- Guide students in revenue optimization across market segments.
- Ensure understanding of market trends and customer behavior.
Operations Management
- Teach operational fundamentals and business applications.
- Help students model and solve operational challenges.
- Continuously improve course content with real-world relevance.
Candidate profile
We’re looking for a professional with:
- Proven expertise in Revenue and Operations Management.
- Strong data analysis and RMS skills.
- Experience in pricing strategy and inventory management.
- A Master’s degree (or willingness to obtain one).
- At least 4 years’ teaching experience in an international setting.
- Excellent coaching, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (C1–C2 level).
- Hospitality industry experience (a plus).
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Remuneration
Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 11 of the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Sciences (CAO HBO), ranging from € 4,535.76 to € 6,359.47gross per month (full-time), depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

Additional information
Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on the notice period of the applicant. The work location for this position can be either our Campus in Amsterdam and/or Campus The Hague.
