The minor 'Regenerative Societies within the Bachelor Programme, aims to equip students with insights and competencies to drive sustainable and regenerative practices within hospitality contexts. To support the course design team for this new course, Hotelschool The Hague is looking for an intern that is proactive, autonomous, and research-driven, and eager to make meaningful contributions to educational innovation and sustainability in hospitality.
Characteristics of our ideal candidate:

- Autonomous: Able to independently manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain productivity without constant supervision.
- Research-oriented: Willingness and motivation to develop their final research project based upon experiences and insights gained during the internship.
Desired Qualifications and Skills of the candidate:
- Strong interest or background in sustainability, regeneration, or societal innovation.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Organized, structured, and attentive to details.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an academic environment.
- Comfortable with conducting independent research and analysis.
This is what you will be doing:
- Supporting lecturers in designing, structuring and delivering course materials and content.
- Conducting research related to regenerative hospitality practices.
- Assisting with coordinating meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
- Providing critical and creative input into course activities, assignments, and assessments.
- Producing a research-based final deliverable (e.g., thesis, report, presentation) directly related to internship experiences and outcomes.
- Contacting companies for fairs and guest lectures
- Creating a continuous evaluation together with the lecturer team
- Collaborating with the other Minor topics and possibly co-facilitating with lecturer-body.

Period: 6 May-10 October (with a 5 week summer break, return in start-up week 18 August)
